A Duty

Sometimes we become silent because of our shame and guilt. There are times when we are called also to give loving fraternal correction.

How can you say to your brother, ‘Let me take the speck out of your eye,’ when all the time there is a plank in your own eye? Mirrors

When we see the weaknesses, sins, mistakes and failures of others, may we too comprehend the enormity of our own personal guilt.

Ongoing Prayer and Effort

It takes a lifetime to change for the better. It is an ever ongoing prayer and effort. Together with such an ordeal is the sincere help, one could extend for those who are experiencing the same.

External Support

People sometimes treat us because of our past. They become external challenges to our sincere effort to change. What we need really are external supports and help in order to persevere in our quest of life-long ardous conversion.

Reparation

Part of making amends for our past mistakes, sins and failures is the humble acceptance and humility of it. Some people will treat us severely because of our past, they sometimes do not consider that we have already sincerely repented and trying our best to reform and change.
